We believe the little things in life are the most important ones. That’s why we have a Sorbet Butler who circulates round both the infiniti and Amazon pools dispensing refreshing sorbet. We also have two additional private islands that can be used for intimate dinners or for jet-skiers so they do not disturb other guests. Why not touch the treetops on the bungee trampolines, available to guests of all ages? We’d also love to organize visits to neighboring islands. This part of the Maldives has great cultural significance. It is said that if you visit nearby Utheem Palace and make a wish, it will come true.

Villas & Suites

Your home will be one of sixty-eight beautifully-designed contemporary thatched villas, each with its own private pool, a butler to attend to your every whim and the latest in modern technology, including i-pod hook-up, high-speed internet and email and LCD TVs.  Each villa is a celebration of sleek, contemporary Maldivian architecture, where floor to ceiling doors open out onto your spacious deck, blurring the boundary between in-and-outdoor spheres. All have an outdoor dining area, open-air bathroom with Philippe Starck fittings and private pool. Each category also has its own unique characteristics, for example those over-water have glass-paneled floors and those on the beach, private beach cabanas.  Ecological conscious all the way, natural light is the order of the day, and a natural ventilation system allowing the delicious ocean breeze to circulate through the villa.  The Beach House at Manafaru is more than happy to accommodate children and its villas are ideal for family groups with extra day beds and bunk beds readily available. All have butlers at hand to make a cup of tea, recommend snorkeling sites or unpack suitcases.

With three different gourmet restaurants, even the most serious gourmet will not be short on inspiration. And every dish at every restaurant is a work of art.  At the Beach House, we pride ourselves on the level of flexibility and adaptability we can offer. Take our three bars, for instance. Each stays open all day, to provide you with sustenance wherever, whenever you might want it. If you’d like an ice-cold Mojito brought right to your day bed, you shall have it!
